Period drama based on the true story of MINIK, an indigenous Greenland Inuk who in the early 1900’s became known as the “New York Eskimo” after the brash Arctic explorer Robert Peary, self-proclaimed “discoverer of the North Pole”, transported a group of Inuit, together with the massive meteorite that served as the sacred embodiment of their creation myth, to New York to put on display at the Museum of Natural History. Minik, the youngest of the group, was the only one who lived to tell the tale.
